Eligibility Overview
This program offers a special quota for government employees and professionals, with 25% of seats reserved across all programs. Eligibility is determined by:
Government Employees
Staff of State Government Departments, Boards, Corporations, Companies, Government-aided Educational Institutions, and Quasi-Government organizations
Age Requirement
Minimum 19 years of age as of June 1, 2024
Location
Work or residence must be within 75 km radial distance from the Institute (per AICTE guidelines)
Experience
Minimum one year of full-time/regular professional experience after obtaining required qualifications
Documentation
Government employees must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from current employer
Self-Employment
Eligible with one year of entrepreneurship experience and proper registration certificate
Admission is merit-based, with candidates ranked according to eligibility requirements.
Government Employee Quota
For employees working in Government Departments/ Boards/Corporation/Companies under State Government/ Govt. aided Educational Institutions/ State Quasi Government are eligible for this quota seats. 25% of the seats available in each Program are reserved for the employees as mentioned above. Admission to these seats shall be done based on the rank from among the candidates meeting the eligibility requirements.
Candidates have to produce No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer at the time of admission.
Age and Distance Requirements
The candidates should have completed a minimum of 19 years as on 1st June 2024.
Professionals working in Government Departments / Registered Industry / Organizations (Central/State) / Private Ltd company / Public Limited Company / MSMEs / Educational institutions recognized by Government / Boards (State / Central) whose working place or place of residence is within 75 Km radial distance from the Institute are only eligible to apply (as per AICTE Circular No. AICTE/RB/Misc/2023-24 dated 21/03/2024 - Revised Guidelines).
Professional Experience Requirements
The candidate shall have minimum of one year full time/ regular working experience. Professional experience shall be the experience gained by the candidates after attaining the required qualification in Government Departments / Registered Industry / Organizations (Central/State) / Private Ltd company / Public Limited Company / MSMEs / Educational institutions recognized by Government / Boards (State / Central).
Professional experience of Self employed persons shall be considered with the condition that they should have completed one year in entrepreneurship and the registration certificate of the respective firm shall be produced.
